One of the most exciting parts about performing as a pianist in a jazz ensemble is linking up with the drummer rhythmically! Listening goes both ways: not only can the pianist can feed off the drummer, but the drummer can also feed off of the pianist. This is an example of how those rhythmic connections can manifest in a live playing situation ft. Bijan Taghavi & Keith Hall.
