Check out this inner voice movement over an Fmi7 as played over "I Fall in Love Too Easily":

1) Contrary Motion (RH = 5-6-b7, LH = b7-6-5)
2) This leads to a borrowing of what Barry Harris called the “diminished notes” (RH = E, LH = Db, which creates a C7b9)
3) RH moves from diminished note Db back to C which creates a subtle resolution from C7b9 to Fmi7
